MXGP World Championship 2022 in Maggiora!

Maggiora is a small town a few kilometres away from Borgomanero, in Piedmont, but for motocross lovers Maggiora is the location of great World Championships editions and spectacular Motocross of Nations!! 

Maggiora has been hosting important sport events since 1946, when the first edition of the cycling competion Circuito del Balmone was organized. The first motocross event was in 1963, in the Mottaccio del Balmone circuit, which became over the years a top location for this sport. In 1971, the first permanent racetrack was built. In 1980 and 1986 two iconic Motocross of Nations were held in front of an incredible audience (50.000 people).

The following decade, champions such as Chiodi and Puzar competed on Maggiora racetrack. After an interruption of all activities in 2000, Motocross World Championships reopened Maggiora Park in 2013.

Now, in exactly a month, on the 7th and 8th of May the memorable track will thrill the audience once again on the occasion of the MXGP World Championships 2022!!
